In times of trouble

All of us will face uncertainty, illness, monetary issues, various family drama etc.

How do we respond to these situations? That is what matters the most. My thoughts when this happens turns to Jesus and how he handled his 1,000s of problems (daily lol).

The first thing I do is pray. Prayer might not give you instant resolution, but it sets the stage for answers and healing.

God rarely repeated himself. He did when he said, be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:7-9)

Why would God repeat these words? My personal take is that he did so because he knows that in this life we will suffer and we will need an abundance of faith and courage.

Let’s make sure that we always start our day requesting that God grant is an increase in faith, wisdom from above and courage.

Philippians 4:19, And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Faith and courage and wisdom are needs not wants.
