Sell your possessions and give…For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Luke 12:33-34
It’s difficult to give your resources away, especially money, if you have little.
The Bible says that a woman gave a penny as her offering because that is all she had, but Jesus commended her because she gave when she had barely anything to give.
The greatest feeling is giving to those who are in need. Jesus said that you are lending to him and he will pay you back.
Money can always be earned, but obeying God and giving freely of your wealth is a virtue. You might not see the blessings right away, but a certain moment will come when you attain a true blessing in the form of money or something else.
It is better to give than receive is a truth for not only believers, but all people.

My mission in writing this blog is to take part in the Great Commission:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
My walk with Christ began about 40 years ago when I met one of the leaders of Jews For Jesus who helped me change my life around. Growing up as a Jew in Maryland I did not know who God was and never practiced Judaism.
The Lord has brought me through many trials, has educated me on His rules for Godly living, taught me wisdom from above and how to surrender and allow Him to take over in all situations.
Hopefully I can impart a fraction of what Jesus has taught me and if this helps, let me know when I see you in heaven one day!
