A deep and intimate relationship to Jesus

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me” (Rev. 3:20)

Establishing a solid relationship with the person who created you is not the easiest thing to accomplish. It takes the willingness to surrender your full being in trust to the Lord Jesus.

That is the first step that builds the foundation. Once this foundation is in place you must pray without ceasing. This means you need to always be mindful of Jesus in all your activities. Ask him to be with you throughout the day. He wants to enjoy meals with you, play sports with you, think with you, help you during your exams and he wants to help you overcome any adversity using his grace which is sufficient for you.

Secondly, you must praise God through Jesus for all things that occur in your daily life. The reason is that God only allows his children (believers in Jesus) to endure trials that have a purpose in our life. Some trials are mild and others are arduous, but, God will not put us through more then we can handle and the trial does not end until his goal is achieved.

Perhaps he wants to get your attention!Lastly, you will never receive unless you petition God through Jesus for what it is you desire. Be careful in asking God for what is necessary. The reason is that whatever you ask for God will answer ONLY if it is according to his perfect plan for your life.

You might not get an immediate answer, but, God hears you and his timing is perfect so make sure when you make a request from God that you ask for the patience while waiting for his response. He created time for humans, but God’s timing is not ours.

Yes, in all things we must always be thankful to God through Jesus.
