Wow! Can you imagine for a moment what this verse means? No one has seen what awaits those In Christ. Not even the Apostles have seen what is waiting for the believers in heaven. All who have passed away In Christ are in Paradise, not heaven.
Paradise must be amazing, even the thief on the cross alongside Jesus is in Paradise after asking Jesus to remember him. No one has heard of what awaits us in heaven because it cannot be imagined or described as it is solely from God.
Nothing has entered into the hearts of men or women that could possibly give any ideas into what we are in for when we get to heaven. Some suggest that we will be able to see newly created colors.
There will be roads made of gold: “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass” Revelation 21:21
What kind of food will be there? What will our mansions look like? So many questions about heaven. Jesus has been preparing our final destination for 2,000 years. Stay focused and think about heavenly things.
Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
