Is there a sin that God cannot forgive?

“The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” 1 John 3:8

Jesus’ death on the cross defeated Satan’s work. Unfortunately, there is a sin that cannot be forgiven. The sin that cannot be forgiven is unbelief. Those who reject the claims of Jesus do not believe that he is the Son of God.

Ultimately this unbelief will cause these souls to spend eternity separated from God in hell. There is eternal punishment for those who commit blasphemy against God. Blasphemy is rejection of Christ.

Eternal punishment comes to those whose sin remains due to their unbelief In Christ. All who enter heaven enter as holy people, cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Those who believe In Jesus are cleansed and go through a process called sanctification.

God is a God of justice and the wages of sin is death. Jesus paid our sin debt in full for those who believe In Him.
