WHAT WILL BE REMEMBERED?

“‘Go to this people and say, “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.” For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ “Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!” Isaiah 6:9-10 – Paul’s final words before the Jews in Rome.

Did he stop sharing the gospel with these non-believers? No, for two more years he continued to share with anyone who came to hear him speak about the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God was not understood by the Jews because they thought Jesus would restore their Kingdom and defeating the Romans. The Kingdom of God is this: “The Good news about Christ.”

The Kingdom of God becomes realized when Jesus rules in our hearts, mind and spirit! Jesus, through Paul, was victorious despite Paul ending his life in chains in Rome before his execution. What endured past Paul’s death is what Jesus had intended to accomplish through Paul which was proclaiming the message of Jesus to those who believed In Christ.

Who will Jesus accept and who are those who will have their sins forgiven? The answer is very easy, it is not complicated: “All who believe In Jesus” It does not matter what you have done in your past.

Anyone who comes to Jesus will not be turned away.
