Incarnation is Spirit God taking on human flesh in the form of Jesus. Jesus took on the nature and character of The Holy Spirit in order to share His divine qualities with mankind. No one has ever seen God.
Moses only saw God in temporary form and the term for this is “Theophany”. Remember, God chooses to reveal himself to man in numerous ways. Many examples are found in the Old Testament. God chose to reveal himself to the world (kosmos in Greek) through Jesus. The sole purpose for doing this was for Jesus to die for our sins thus defeating Satan. In addition to this plan, God reveals his exact representation of himself in Jesus.
Hebrews 1:3 tells us:
“And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high”
He refers to Jesus and God is glory while God’s nature or divinity is exactly represented in Jesus. Jesus is holder of all power who removed the sins of mankind once and forever. Jesus now sits at the right hand of God.
To understand the sin aspect of what Jesus accomplished on the cross: After a person has been cured, after having surgery, that person must go through a period of healing. In the same manner, all who believe In Jesus have been cured of their sins. However, we must go through a healing process called “sanctification” which will one day make us Holy like God on the day of redemption.
Absolutely no one is Holy until the process of sanctification is complete. God has given us Grace and Mercy until that day comes when we will wear white robes before Him in heaven. For now God has provided us the perfect example of how to live our lives on earth and this perfect example is JESUS!
