Only One God

Isaiah 43:10-12

“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior.

Like Moses, Isaiah knew who the Son of God was, perhaps he did not know that his name would evolve from Y’Shua to Jesus, but Isaiah knew there was only one God.

God the Father, Jesus his Son and Holy Spirit. All three co-exist and were never created. They are co-equal and not the same. It’s perplexing, but think of it this way:

God the Father is the sovereign ruler of the universe. God the Father through Jesus, our Lord and Savior, created all things visible and invisible.

God the Father has appeared in many ways to mankind over time. He appeared to Moses as the burning bush and Moses got to see his backside only as he was covered in a cleft.

He has appeared to the Apostles and to the people of Israel as Jesus, Lord and Savior. During his time on earth, Jesus took on the character of The Spirit of God to reveal God’s nature, power and unconditional love for us.

Today, Jesus is still with us. He lives in all those who believe In him. The Temple of God’s Spirit dwells in everyone who believes In Jesus.

Simple, right? Just remember that there is only one God in three persons. Who should you pray to? Pray to Jesus, Pray to Holy Spirit or pray to Father God! There is only one God.

Jesus is God, The Father is God and The Spirit is God. It sounds confusing but God had to appear in the form of a man. Yes, God himself bore our sins upon himself and restored our broken relationship to him through Jesus!

God is always on our side. He loves us more than we will ever comprehend and we will meet him soon.

Oh, be sure to stay on his good side by obeying the laws, precepts, statutes and commands written in His Word.
