Out of the 40,000 or more promises in the Bible that are given to those who devote themselves to Jesus my favorite blessing is having peace.
The peace of God is a force that can allow you to stay calm and content under stressful situations, pressure filled assignments at work, dealing with awkward moments, going through illnesses, facing domestic situations and so much more.
Who did Jesus turn to during his trials? Jesus turned to Father God for all his decisions, trials and for all his joy on earth. Yes, Jesus desires to enjoy your life with you and wants you to know that he has been there and done that so to speak. Father God makes himself available to all who believe that Jesus is His Son.
God desires for us to prosper even before health because he knows that in the very end, the flesh accounts for nothing. What matters is the condition of your spirit.
Every person in this world faces adversity of some kind. Yes, that includes the rich and famous. In fact, most of them face harsher problems than you and me. Never be envious of anyone. The meek will inherit the earth, those who are humble, who love God.
Philippians 4:6-8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6-8
To sum this verse up:
1) God commands us to not worry
2) PRAY without ceasing
3) Ask God for help!
4) Always be thankful in all situations
5) Let God know all of your requests
What will happen now?
You’ll experience peace that the world cannot give you. The kind of peace I’m discussing only comes from Jesus. The people who reject Jesus rely on fame, money, media, drugs, drinks, lust, power, jobs, looks and other things that are temporary.
Those who store their treasure in heaven receive the peace of God because they understand that one day in the blink of an eye everything that they devoted to God will be rewarded a million times over by Jesus.
Be patient, loved ones. In due time you’ll reap what you’ve sowed.
Keeping it 💯
