Persecution

“All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution”
2 Tim. 3:12

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness!

If you love, follow and obey Jesus as Lord and Savior you have gone through various forms of persecution.

Let’s face the truth, the world hates us because the world hates Jesus and his loyal followers.

Christians will face persecution – maybe not like our ancestors, but at some point in our lives its unavoidable.

The world wears a veil to cover their shame. They stay united in doing the opposite of what God says to do in his Word.

What happens to us when we stop following Jesus, even for a moment?

Jesus said, “They have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the Word straightway they stumble” Mark 4:17

The more you mature In Christ you learn to surrender more of your total being to God because that is showing faith in him.

You begin to understand that there is only one way to live and that is through Christ.

God has us in the palm of his hand at all times!

Do you desire to be as close to God as possible? If so, it requires you to put all your energy into getting as close as you can to God. Intimacy with God is extremely important to our spiritual wellness.

The closer you draw to God the more you will understand his will for your life.

Security is only found in Jesus. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust Jesus and speak to him all day long as if he were next to you. After all, he lives in those who love him.

God will never put you through something that you cannot handle.

Delight yourself in God and He will give you the desires of your heart. We think we know what we desire – God knows exactly what we desire and it is to be close to Him.
