Followers of Jesus set their hope in what lies ahead, which is a future to be shared with Father God and His Son, Jesus, in a place called heaven.
To get there we must have a high level of faith that centers our thoughts, prayers and love on everything that Jesus teaches us through His shared Spirit. Father God and Jesus share their Spirit with all who believe the truth.
Believing in the truth means that you’ve accepted that Jesus is God and that he died for all mankind’s sin at Calvary in the greatest single act of love and mercy.
In doing so, Jesus became our substitute on the cross bearing our burden.
Meditate on this every day of the rest of your earthly life. This might help you put it into perspective:
*Jesus is the unblemished sacrificial Lamb of God whose sacrifice gave us eternal life and forgiveness of sin
*Jesus death on the cross provides an impenetrable barrier from Satan in which Christians are eternally protected, the barrier is The Holy Spirit.
*Jesus enabled all believers in him to have direct communication with the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe – Father God, The Eternal Spirit.
*The stripes that Jesus bore at Calvary became the healing power for all nations.
*Jesus’ act on the cross is the truest definition of Love. That a man lay his life down for his friend(s).
*In dying on the cross, Jesus defines and exemplifies “Obedience”.
*Jesus death on the cross provided the ultimate meaning of “Passover” in that the blood of the Lamb touches all who believe in God’s Son to provide the passing over of the angel of death and guiding us into the path of righteousness and eternal life In Christ.
*Jesus death on the cross becomes the Gospel to the world which saves, restores, renews and cleanses those who surrender themselves to an eternal life In Christ.
Jesus died, but He also rose triumphantly from the grave thus defeating death for all time. We too, will never see death.
Trust, me, you made it! Relax, enjoy your eternal life now because it began when Jesus rose from the grave for all those who believe In Him.
Jesus is our brother because his Father is God and we too our children of God. Everything the Father has for His Son is given to God’s children.
Keeping it 💯
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
