One of the greatest temptations that we face each day is dealing with our inner thoughts. How many times has what you thought about become a situation where you drum up negative judgments about someone?
An example is at work when we are dealing with a co-worker who might be annoying or at school when a teacher is perceived as being too hard or unfair in grading your assignments. Maybe it’s when you’re driving and a Prius or other slow car is in front of you?
One day Jesus will judge us and every negative thought that we had will come to light. Judging is probably the most confessed of all sins.
You cannot judge a book by its cover, right? We tend to judge by looks, how people dress, how a person speaks or the kind of job a person has for a living.
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned”
The way to think of others is to place them above yourself in importance. Resist temptation and “it” will flee from you. Instead of judging, be open minded and have unconditional love for people like Jesus did.
You’ll be surprised when you realize that staying humble and believing in people, no matter their predicament in life, leads to prosperity and peace.
