The Narrow Gate

Solomon was succinct and to the point when he defined the lifestyle of true followers of Jesus:

“The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person”

Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12‬:‭13‬

It applies to every person because all will be held accountable on the day of judgment. Which way will you go, to the left or to the right?

The goats head to the left and the sheep head to the right. The best plan is to stay humble and revere God almighty living your life above reproach.

Christians take the narrow path in life which leads to righteousness. The narrow path is sometimes difficult to navigate, but God has given us his Spirit to be our guide through difficult times.

The wider path is easy to follow because there are no rules to follow. You are basically on your own, rebellion is your set of wheels and pride is your inspiration on this path.

This is the path that finds a person straying from understanding. People choose this path because they trust in themselves and not God.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it”

Matthew 7:13-14

“A person who wanders from the way of understanding Will rest in the assembly of the dead”

Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭16‬

Choose your path wisely, revere God obeying his precepts, laws, statutes and commandments.
