Mission, Passion and Persistence

The above three character traits always lead to success. Think of the life and times of Jesus.

His mission was to end the bonds of slavery to sin for all mankind through the ultimate sacrifice of himself at Calvary.

Jesus’ passion for mankind led him to do the opposite of what the hypocrites, Pharisees, thought he would do which was destroy the Romans. Instead, Jesus became a peacemaker eating and having fellowship with the lost.

Lastly, there has never been a greater example of persistence recorded in human history that can compare to the amount of persistence that defined Jesus and thus allowed him to carry out his mission.

“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him”

James 1:12
