“Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty”
Job’s wife said to him, “Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!” He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”
There will always be unsettling times in our lives. Pain and suffering will come and questioning God might enter our thoughts.
Job was put through the fire, by God, to prove to Satan that, in whatever Job was tested in, that he would not curse God for his misfortune.
Job’s livestock were taken, his family destroyed and on top of this, he was in awful pain and suffering. Despite the suggestion of why he was born, Job arose victorious with help from his dearest and most wise friends.
We must never fall victim to the lie of Satan suggesting that God is punishing us. If we suffer as believers In Christ, it’s temporary. Perhaps, God is testing us, preventing something from happening to us or disciplining us.
Whatever God is doing in our lives it’s for a purpose that will make us stronger and better prepared for what is ahead.
Stay positive and faithful to God. Jesus will get you through any adversity that comes your way.
Keeping it 💯
