Whether we realize it or not, we are constantly being pruned by God as we age In Christ. It’s difficult, especially when you’re young and face peer pressure amongst friends that do not share your faith.
Sometimes there are cracks in the road and perhaps you’ll stumble in your faith. That’s perfectly normal because let’s face it we all have gone through moments such as these.
If one lamb gets away out of 100, Jesus will go after that lamb and bring it back to the flock. There is a price to pay when we “stray away” from the guidance of Jesus.
Christian’s go through punishment, but only if God allows it to occur for our benefit. You see, the Will of Father God for Jesus is that none of the sheep get away.
It might be a gentle rebuking or it might be a life and death situation in order for God to work his purpose in our lives.
Obeying God and leaving the consequences to Him is the only way to preserve your walk with Jesus.
“Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be Holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”
