God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?
– Numbers 23:19
Did you know there are approximately 40,000 promises in the Bible? When God promises something, according to his perfect will for your life, it will be fulfilled without a doubt. Did you ask God for something through prayer? He cannot answer you unless you communicate with him.
According to 1 John 5:14-16, God tells us, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”
If we ask, that’s usually the problem. God will not act upon what you need if you do not pray about it to him. Then, he hears what you request and if its according to his will for your life you’ll receive whatever you ask of him.
Yes, it can certainly be financial if that is what is needed in your life according to his will for you. It might not rain money for you, but it could be a new job or a surprise check in the mail. If God intends for you to wealthy, so be it – perhaps its so you can bless the multitude.
In times of trouble there is one thing you can be sure about and that is the promises God has made to you.
